Dad's Garlic Chicken
Servings: 4-6, Total Time: 2-5 hours (plus overnight marinade)
Ingredients
1 raw chicken or chicken parts (your choice)
1 whole garlic head, chopped finely
1 lemon
3 cup soy sauce
salt and pepper
vinegar (optional)
Directions
- Prepare raw chicken by separating into parts, thawing/defrosting, or chopping up into pieces.
- Prepare marinade by mixing together soy sauce, garlic, (optional vinegar) in a large bowl.
- Cut and squeeze lemon into mixture.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Transfer raw chicken to bowl. Leave to soak in marinade 1-3 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Fry chicken in oil or grill. Serve with rice.
