Best Banana Bread

aka Banana Walnut Bread
Servings: 10 (1 loaf), Total Time: 1 hr, 30 min

Ingredients
1-1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 bananas, finely crushed
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Add eggs and crushed bananas. Combine well.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
  4. Add vanilla (and optional walnuts).
  5. Pour contents of bowl into greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
  7. Let cool and refrigerate.
